  • Derek Jeter – Pequannock, New Jersey - Derek Jeter is a shortstop that has played 18 seasons for the New York Yankees.
  • James Avery – Atlantic City - Best known as the uncle and judge “Philip Banks” on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
  • Roy Scheider – Orange - He was best known for his role as police chief Martin C. Brody in the first two Jaws movies.
  • Ed Harris – Englewood - known for his performances in The Rock, A Beautiful Mind, Enemy at the Gates, Apollo 13, and The Truman Show.
  • Chelsea Handler – Livingston - Chelsea Handler is a stand-up comedian and the first female to have a late night talk show "Chelsea Lately".
  • Kelly Ripa – Stratford - She is best known as the host of the popular television program "Live! with Kelly".
  • Ice-T – Newark - born Tracy Marrow he is a well-known actor and musician, has starred on the popular NBC drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and also stars in "Ice Loves Coco", a reality program about his relationship with his wife.
  • David Copperfield – Metuchen - American Illusionist , Magician. He has earned 11 Guinness Book of World Records and 21 Emmy Awards.
  • Lee Van Cleef – Somerville - film actor known for playing mainly villians in Western and action films. He’s appeared in films such as "High Noon", "For a Few Dollars More", and "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly".
  • Shaquille O’Neal - Newark - a former professional basketball player, he has won the NBA championship four times, been voted to the NBA All-Star team fifteen times, and was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1993.
  • Yogi Berra – Montclair - a former American League baseball catcher, outfielder and manager. As a player, coach or manager, Berra appeared in 21 World Series. He is well-known for his “Yogi-isms” including, “It ain’t over ‘til it’s over,” “I really didn’t say everything I said,” and “It’s déjà vu all over again.”
  • Michael Douglas - New Brunswick - Michael Douglas is an actor and producer, primarily in movies and television. The winner of three Golden Globes and two Academy awards, one as the producer of 1975’s Best Picture, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and one as the Best Actor in 1987 in Wall Street. He is the oldest son to actors Kirk Douglas and Diana Dill
  • Buzz Aldrin, Astronaut – Glen Ridge - An American mechanical engineer, United States Air Force pilot and astronaut, Buzz Aldrin will forever be known as the Lunar Module pilot on Apollo 11. Buzz Aldrin was the second astronaut to have ever walked on the moon and the first to have also spacewalked.
